I discovered Red Velvet Armadillo Bakeshop randomly via their blog. Not only do they have a creative name, but their cupcakes take standards like rocky road or Neopolitan and do something new and fun with them. Cupcakes with flair! Just check out their Neopolitan cupcake (the last one) to see what I mean about taking something we all know and doing something new with it. That’s what I look for in a bakery, especially after I’ve eaten, oh, um…many hundreds (thousands?) of cupcakes in the last 4+ years of cupcake blogging!
