Berry & Merengue Cupcakes
Wednesday, August 26th, 2009This light and lowfat cupcake is the perfect treat for hot August days. A sweet, rustic merengue “cake” is stuffed with homemade strawberry and blueberry preserves, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and served to rave reviews. Out of this world!

Also, don’t forget! Tomorrow night is the Literary Legends Award Banquet at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort in Ponte Vedra Beach. The dinner and silent auction are all part of the 2009 Florida Heritage Book Festival, and all proceeds from ticket sales and silent auction items will benefit the Friends of the Libraries of St. John’s County and the Newspaper in Education Program.
